On March 28, 2023, the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”) announced the launch of a “Know Your Rights” card series to educate workers on their rights under the National Labor Relations Act.

The launch begins with two tri-fold “Know Your Rights” cards. One card provides information about the rights afforded to immigrant employees.  The other card covers union-represented employees’ Weingarten rights.  The cards are available in Spanish and English.  The cards can be found here: https://www.nlrb.gov/sites/default/files/attachments/pages/node-184/kyr_immigration.png; https://www.nlrb.gov/sites/default/files/attachments/pages/node-184/kyr_weingarten.png.

NLRB General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo stated, “The cards will advance the NLRB’s efforts to remove barriers for workers in underserved communities through education, outreach, and processes so that all workers can safely access the NLRB.”

Additional cards are expected to be released later this year. We will continue follow developments and will provide you with updates as more cards and/or information become available.  Should you have any questions, please contact Ali Law Group.
