Karen has been with the firm since 2017. She specializes in providing labor and employment counseling to small, midsize and large companies. Utilizing her knowledge and depth of experience, she assists management in ensuring that their company policies are in compliance with the most current laws and counsels employers on various federal, state and local legal issues.
Karen received a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. Prior to joining Ali Law Group, she was a Deputy County Attorney for Nassau County, representing local government and its officials in employment and civil rights claims in Federal and State court. While working in insurance defense, she represented numerous professionals and major corporations in the litigation of negligence claims.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and exercising.

Karen is extremely focused, goal oriented and diligent in her efforts. She has become a knowledge expert in the field of labor and employment law and is well versed in developing and updating Employee Handbooks, Employment Related Agreements and Human Resources Policies.
