The Ali Law Group is pleased to announce that Sima Ali is being honored by Long Island Business News as one of this year’s Top 50 Women in Business.
Launched in 2000, this program has recognized the Island’s top women professionals for business acumen, mentoring and community involvement.
For over 20 years, Sima has practiced exclusively in the field of labor and employment law, working for several firms before starting her own boutique labor and employment law firm, Ali Law Group, in 2011. Sima provides a full range of representative services, primarily for management, in all areas of labor and employment law. A frequent speaker on topics that are important to business owners and human resources executives – such as the New York State Paid Family Leave program – Sima presents seminars throughout the New York metropolitan area that help her clients understand the requirements in terms they understand.
Giving back to the community, Sima supports Pink Aid Long Island, where her firm is a corporate sponsor and she is a member of the Invitation Committee for their 2017 Luncheon & Fashion Show Fundraiser for women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She is also part of an elite group of Long Island corporate individuals nominated to participate in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) 2017 Executive Challenge fundraising competition for the “2017 Light the Night Walk.”
Sima is a Board member for the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association, a current member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, where she was Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Committee for 5 years. She is also a member of the Huntington Lawyers Club and Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. Her full bio can be found on the firm’s website.
The evening to celebrate Sima and the other honorees will take place on October 19th at the Crest Hollow Country Club and bring together Long Island’s top business leaders. Learn more or register for the event.
